06 March 2023 An insight into Politics for Budmouth Students!

We were delighted to welcome Stephen Twigg (former Shadow Secretary of State for Education) Amanda Davis (Director for Learning and Education at Dorset Council) and Hannah Baxter (Youth Voice Officer at Dorset Council) One of the aims of the visit was to develop a Dorset student pledge and to hear the views about what this could be called and what should be included. 400 students from Years 7-10 were invited to listen, offer their views and ask questions, an opportunity that does not present itself too often.
